About Rob

Rob is a Senior Associate (Chartered Legal Executive) and Head of Property Litigation, based in our viaduct office.

Born and brought up in Cumbria, Rob began his legal career as a Trainee legal executive with Cartmell Shepherd qualifying in 2007.

In 2023, Rob re-joined Cartmell Shepherd after spending 15 years with another local firm of Solicitors.

Rob specialises in Property Disputes and has particular expertise in both residential and commercial Landlord and Tenant disputes. In addition to his property dispute work, Rob also deals with general contractual disputes.

About Rob

Outside of work, Rob enjoys playing both Masters Rugby League and occasionally Rugby Union. He also enjoys attending either comedy or live music gigs. Rob also enjoys playing the bass guitar and drums but more with enthusiasm than skill.

Rob also likes to support charities, he has recently helped to organise a charity rugby match which raised almost £10,000 for Cancer Research and Macmillan Cancer Support.
