About Ian

Ian joined Cartmell Shepherd’s commercial property team in October 2016 having previously been in practice with other firms in Cumbria and before that, the Thames Valley. Ian was initially a music graduate who retrained as a solicitor, studying the Common Professional Examination at the University of Northumbria and the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law.

Ian plays the trumpet and enjoys wildlife and landscape photography, and having returned to his native Cumbria, hill walking and cycling.
